We was told to visit her by a friend who recommended them ..the food is really nice,the portions very big, we had the 4 course banquet meal for £14 -, what a bargain...food was nice and cooked fresh and no big delays...the only thing I can complain about is he way we felt when we walked in.!!!..not very friendly as we are new to the that restaurant ...staff looked miserable and not chaty at all.

Damp popadoms, dry nann bread, dry chicken and a missing side dish. Very disappointed

When we do treat ourselves Markyate Spice is always the top of the list The food is always lovely and they are so prompt and courteous .

This is the best Indian takeaway that I've had. They. cook everything to order and the good is gorgeous. I'm from London and have had soooo many Indian takeaways and this place is up there first/second best..Will definitely be back!

Excellent food - 100% recommend. We've eaten in the Markyate Spice numerous times as a couple and in a group. We have never been disappointed with the food. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Food is out of this world! We have visited and ordered for takeaway many times over and not once have we ever had a complaint. Restaurant is very modern and the staff are amazing! No bad words to say. 100% recommend to anyone wanting amazing food and friendly good service

Superb Indian, beautiful tasty food served lovely and hot. Great staff that took care of all 11 of us and were very accommodating to our needs. Even gave my 12 year old daughter a box of chocolates for her birthday, nice touch. She was thrilled ! Her favourite Indian was forced to go takeaway only, so we were on the hunt for a new favourite for her family birthday meal. Tried a few before going here last weekend and this was the one she wanted. We all agreed our meals were beautiful and we’d all def come back and will be back soon
